The "journey to faith" is a metaphor for coming to know Christ personally. You may have heard about the man, Jesus Christ, and the miracles that he performed. You may have studied some of his teachings. But did you know that he claimed to be God? He was not just a good man, he was the only perfect man. He was not just a teacher of truth, he is the truth. God came to earth in the form of a man to live among us and to show his love for us by sacrificing himself on a cross. That may be hard to understand or accept, but it means that he paid the price for your own rebellion against God (sin) so that you can be forgiven, set free, and restored to an eternal, personal relationship with God that he intended for you all along.
This is not something that you can earn or obtain for yourself. It is a gift from God to you. All you have to do is to accept him - believe that Jesus is who he says he is, admit that you need saving, and receive him. If would like for someone to pray with you or help you along this leg of the journey, feel free to contact us.
"The journey of faith" is all about what happens after you have become a committed believer in Jesus Christ. Those who follow Christ have begun a new journey of eternal life. It is not an easy path nor is it necessarily a safe one. There are plenty of dangers out there and life on earth is still difficult, however, the difference is that Christ has promised to be with us the whole way.
